Phazisi College in Poti is a key vocational education partner of the Solar Colleges initiative and serves as the project’s Solar Installer Educational Hub in Georgia.

The college actively participates in renewable energy education, with a particular focus on photovoltaic systems. A 16.5 kW solar power plant has been installed on the roof of the college workshop, providing students with direct access to real solar technology and creating a practical learning environment for training in PV system planning, installation, operation and maintenance. The installation was implemented through cooperation with EUROSOLAR Georgia and the Eberhard Schöck Foundation.
As the Solar Installer Educational Hub, Phazisi also supports training-of-trainers activities and the wider transfer of practical solar knowledge to other vocational institutions, helping strengthen teaching capacity and prepare qualified specialists for Georgia’s renewable energy sector.
