A two-day practical solar training was held at Akhali Talga College in Kobuleti, focusing on hands-on experience with photovoltaic systems.

Led by a solar expert from the Eberhard Schöck Foundation, the training placed particular emphasis on practical assembly exercises and measurement tests.

To support the programme, the vocational college was equipped with a compact but fully functional photovoltaic training system. The equipment included several solar modules, an inverter, mounting rails and specialised tools for preparing and crimping solar connectors.

Using the training system, participants were able to work directly with the main components of a photovoltaic installation and gain practical experience with assembly and measurement procedures.

The activity forms part of the Eberhard Schöck Foundation’s wider solar project in Georgia, which aims to promote solar power generation while strengthening practical renewable energy skills within vocational education.

By combining dedicated training equipment with hands-on instruction, the programme helps colleges create a practical learning environment for students interested in solar energy and related technical professions.
