Three vocational colleges in Georgia have received dedicated photovoltaic training systems as part of a new week of practical solar education.

During a series of two-day training sessions, solar training installations were commissioned at Modusi College, Aisi College and Kaspi Vocational College.

The systems are fully functional photovoltaic installations designed specifically for educational use. They allow students and instructors to carry out a wide range of practical assembly and measurement exercises and to work directly with the main components of a solar power system.

The training week was led by solar expert Syril Eberhart and combined practical exercises with technical instruction on photovoltaic systems.

The activity forms part of a broader initiative to promote solar power generation in Georgia and to establish vocational education opportunities in the installation, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems.

By combining practical training with dedicated technical equipment, the project enables vocational colleges to build permanent in-house capacity for solar education rather than relying only on individual training events.

The programme was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and International Innovative Technologies / EUROSOLAR Georgia.
